Farm to Sea Auction features unique (and very cool!) package from Maine magazine. A writer’s dream…

Posted on Friday September 14, 2012

As part of this year’s Farm to Sea Auction, the staff at Maine magazine invites you to be part of their team as one of three 48HRS editors. Spend a weekend in a special part of the state, record your adventures in real time, write blurbs, and take photos that will make up your portion of the story. After determining a weekend that works with your schedule, we will arrange lodging for you and your guest. We will also provide you with a $400 stipend to make use of on your trip. We encourage you to experience the town in your own unique way and share what you find with our readers. Taking part in 48HRS is essentially the same as being a writer and photographer on assignment for Maine magazine! You will take part in the team-planning meeting that will prep you in advance of the trip. 48HRS typically begins on Friday at 5 o’clock and extends through noon on Sunday when you will intersect once again with our team. Our editors will work with you to refine your text before press deadline. If all goes well, your story will appear in the following issue of Maine magazine and online. A one-of-a-kind 48HRS Sea Bag tote is included as part of this unique auction item. *Offer must be selected from one of 12 predetermined weekends from the 2013 48HRS story schedule.

Don’t miss your chance to bid on this and more at The Farm to Sea Auction, September 28 at The Masonic Temple in Portland!  Call 926-4532 FMI.
