Wayfinder Schools Receives RREV Award

We are pleased to announce that we are the recipients of a RREV award to start our Passages Responsive Education Pilot (PREP)! The purpose of RREV is to respond to the educational needs outside the traditional school walls model. Wayfinder Schools' PREP pilot will specifically address the needs of court involved youth transitioning back into their communities. We look forward to sharing updates with our Wayfinder community as the school year continues, and we are thrilled to be awarded the opportunity to serve and support more Maine youth who have struggled in traditional school settings.

The Maine Department of Education’s Rethinking Remote Education Ventures (RREV) project is 100% funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Education Stabilization Fund awarded through the Rethink K- 12 Education Models (REM) grant. Maine was awarded $ 16,958,613. The contents of this document were developed under a grant from the Department of Education. However, the contents do not necessarily represent the policy of the Department of Education , and Wayfinder Schools does not assume endorsement by the Federal Government.
