Wayfinder Schools and the Lullaby Project

For many years now, Wayfinder has been a proud partner in Carnegie Hall’s Lullaby Project. It started with Bay Chamber Concerts & Music School, which brought The Lullaby Project to Maine, and together with Wayfinder, created the first Lullaby Project sessions outside of New York. Our young parenting students worked with the professional musicians of Bay Chamber to write and record original lullabies for their children. From that first year, it’s been an incredibly moving experience for the students, teachers, musicians, and all involved, as well as a powerful bonding experience for our students and their children. In recent years we have expanded the project in collaboration with 317 Main, and included non-parenting students who wish to express themselves and their stories through songwriting. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of this experience, and we hope you’ll listen to some of the Wayfinder student lullabies linked below.
